Obituary for
Laura Gill (Stasiuk)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Laura Erin Gill (Stasiuk) at the age of 33 years. In her youth, Laura enjoyed many sports including badminton, diving, and especially fastball. She graduated from Collège Jeanne Sauve in Winnipeg in 2003. Her creativity and love of children shone in her work at a daycare in Winnipeg. She met her future husband during a trip to Mexico and moved to Alberta shortly after to start a new life filled with outdoor adventures including backcountry camping, quading, and visits to the mountains. Laura and Michael were married in April, 2011. Laura became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2014. She enjoyed baking, photography, and scrapbooking. She shared her love of animals and of books with her children. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially at a bonfire. Laura will be loving remembered by her husband, Michael Gill. She leaves behind three beautiful children: Isabelle, Elizabeth, and Evan. She is survived by her parents, Dave and Debbie Stasiuk of Winnipeg, and sister Meghan (Stasiuk) and Justin Yakiwchuk, extended family and friends.
