1938-2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce
the passing of Larry Sears, age 80, on
Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital surrounded
by his family.
Born in Centre Village, NB, he was a son
of the late Harold and Marion (Wheaton) Sears.
Larry loved spending his days with his
beloved dog Sasha, enjoying morning coffee with his buds, feeding the
fish at the pond, chin wagging at the woodpile and playing cards with
family and friends.
He worked in construction most of his
life including having his own business before retiring.
Larry is survived by his wife, Donna
(Hicks), his dog Sasha, his children JoAnne (John) McAllister, Janet
Adams, Russell (Carol) Sears, Tammy Wheaton, Angela (Ettore)
Leonardis; his 4 grandchildren Nick (Jill) Wheaton, RJ (Marley Landry)
Sears, Kayla (Michael Leblanc) Wheaton and Amy (Travis) Smart; his 3
great grandchildren Graycie Leblanc and Watson and Emryn
Smart; and 2 brothers Wayne (Sheila) Sears and Frederick
Sears.
Besides his parents he was predeceased
by his brothers James and Thomas Sears.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). In keeping with Larry’s
wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service for
family and friends will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at
the Midgic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to the Animal Shelter or any charity of choice.
