Kenneth Ralph Young “Ken”
Young, Kenneth Ralph “Ken” – age 86 of Halifax. Passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the Halifax Infirmary, QE II. Born in Fergusons Cove, he was the son of the late Gordon and Eileen (Conway) Young. Kenneth is survived by daughter, Donna Wilson (Lewis), Clarkesville; son, Christopher (Peggy), Eastern Passage; grandchildren, Jennifer Harvie (Greg), Lennon Wilson, Jeffrey Young (Lysanne), Aaron Young; great grandchildren, Kaleb Harvie, Chloe Harvie, Aismee Young, Rowan Young; brothers, Douglas Young (Theresa), Gordon Young (Lorna); sister, Mary Young; and family friend, Yvonne Dempsey. Also survived by his partner, Mary Williams and her children, Orville Williams, Michael Williams, Wanda Williams, Steven Williams, and Janice Williams. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Morash) and Mary’s son, Andrew Williams. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11am to 1pm in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
