Kenneth Knight (KK) Davis
1915 – 2018
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ken (KK) Davis on Thursday, March 29th with his family at his side. He was a well-loved man who will be sorely missed by many family and friends. A “legend” at the age of 102 years, he was an inspiration to everyone who met him. Always with a smile on his face, a quick witty remark and a heart of gold, he would light up a room. Ken was a survivor of World War II having served in the Lancaster Bomber.
Ken was predeceased by his wife Gladys and his eldest son Ken. He is survived by his son Barry and daughter-in-law Dody (Oliphant), West St. Paul, Manitoba, his daughter Patricia Dick and son-in law Mel, of White Rock, BC. And daughter-in-law Terry McKay of Dryden. Ken leaves behind grandchildren, nieces and nephews living in various parts of Canada and here in Dryden.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held in the Dryden Royal Canadian Legion Saturday, July 14th at 2:00 p.m.
Interment of ashes will take place in the Dryden Cemetery.
Should friends desire donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Dryden Branch #63 of the Royal Canadian Legion through the Stevens Funeral Home, P.O. Box 412, Dryden P8N 2Z1.
