Kenneth George Mooney
Passed away unexpectedly at Hythe Alberta on Friday September 21, 2018 at the age of 66 years, Kenneth George Mooney, of Wawanesa MB.
Ken leaves to mourn his passing his soul mate Julie Friesen & her family of Ajay (Jackie) & Carley (Mike); sister Joyce (Randy) Tully of Shoal Lake MB & their family of Brad (Tanya) & family, Robyn (Evan) & family, Erin (Aron) & family and Laura (Bryce) & family; sister Kathy (Rod) Noel of Glenboro & their family of Terry (Nancy) & family, Jeff (Sally) and Mike (Linda) & family; brother Brian (Karie) Mooney of Portage la Prairie & their family of Emma & Grady, as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
Ken was predeceased by his father Bob Mooney in 1998 & mother Flora Mooney (Vane) in 2003.
A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Friday September 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Wawanesa Centennial Hall with Rev. Harvey Hurren officiating.
A private family Interment will take place later in the Millford Cemetery. Following the service a reception will follow in the hall.
Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Ken’s memory to the Criddle-Vane Homestead Heritage Committee (cheques made payable to “Friends of Sprucewoods”), Box 238, Glenboro MB R0K 0X0 or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 1 Wesley Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
