Ken passed away peacefully with friends and family on Thursday evening. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann (nee Brebner), children Valerie and Kirk. Grandchildren, Ruby, Spencer, and Henry. Ken was predeceased by his son Gregory.
Ken was an avid gardener, motorcycle rider and hummingbird fancier. His riding adventures took him to places like Alaska and the Yukon including various rallies across the continent. He enjoyed travelling with his family to Hawaii and down the west coast with a love of the ocean.
Ken served with the 19th Alberta Dragoons in Edmonton and also trained new drivers in both Edmonton and Vancouver in his younger days.
Donations to St John Hospice in lieu of flowers.
