Obituary of Kathleen Ellis
Kathleen Ada Ellis slipped suddenly and unexpectedly into the presence of the Lord at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was 75 years of age. Kathleen was loved and held in high respect by all that knew her. She left a positive mark on peoples lives wherever she went. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, involved in the Women’s Ministries, VBS Leader, Missionettes and Cursaders. She is predeceased by her parents Ford & Louise Bursey, brothers; Ronald Bursey, Harvey Bursey, Wilson Bursey and sister Beatrice Bursey. Left to mourn are husband Clifford Ellis; son Keith (Pauline) Ellis, daughter Kathy (Dale) Kennedy. Also leaving to mourn sisters; Dorothy McLaughlin, Shirley (Paul) Harding, grandchildren Amanda Kennedy, Christopher Ellis, Chantelle Kennedy, Ulanda (Ellis) Taylor, Jennifer Ellis & Cameron Ellis, great-grandchildren Parker Ellis, Isabella Taylor, Bentley Taylor & Anderson Ellis and a circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Greg Patey will conduct the funeral service from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop;s Falls on Wednesday, November 14th at 1 PM. Internment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are Christopher Ellis, Cameron Ellis, Kevin Taylor, Elim Ellis, Melvin Hodder and Owen Ellis. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Donations in her memory may be made to her beloved church Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle.
