Freeland, Kathleen “Kay” (nee Wallis)
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Roy Freeland (1985). Loving mother of Tanis Potwarka (late Joe) and the late Brad Freeland. Dear mother-in-law of Maxine Freeland. Proud Nana of Jessie Reid (Chris), Joel Potwarka, Jill Potwarka, David Freeland (Renee), Jamie Freeland (Tammy) and great grandmother of Lily and James Reid, and Brooke and Keira Freeland. Dear sister of Norman and the late Marjorie and Dorothy. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Kay’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12:15-12:45 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. A private interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery has taken place.
