Passed away at Kingston Health Science Centre on Friday, November 23, 2018. Katherine Anne Staples at age 81. Wife of the late W.B. Lawson Staples and mother of Rob and the late Bill Staples. Grandmother of Hayden; Michael and Colby Staples. One of Kathy’s passions was the Old Hay Bay Church, serving as a Trustee and Custodian for 27 years. She had a keen interest in the local history and genealogy of Adolphustown and surrounding area. In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring, to be announced. Tax deductible donations in her memory made to the Old Hay Bay Church would be appreciated by the family. In the care of Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee (613-354-3341).
