WAILING, June Mariane
1934-2018
With great sadness, the family of June Wailing of Saskatoon announce her passing on June 10, 2018, six days before her 84th birthday.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Victor; three children, Lana McGuire, Les (Sharalee Laventure), and Sherry Wailing; four grandsons, Troy (Gina Bolton) Wailing and their children Jordynn, Kali and Kaid; Matthew (Rebecca) Wailing and their children Sloan and Russell; Keegan (Jenna) Wailing and their children Beau, Nash and Knox; and Codie McGuire (Krystina Lensen). She is also survived by her brother Ron (Doreen) Messer; brother-in-law Harvey Jones; sister-in-law Muriel Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Lorne and Lucy Messer; sister Marge Messer; brothers-in-law Pete Fischer, Bruce Lapp, Thomas Wailing, Gordon Wailing, Earl Jones and Ben Waldron; and sisters-in-law Evelyn Wailing, Margaret Wailing, Ina Lapp, Esther Jones and Doris Waldron.
The family wishes to thank Jeanne, the Palliative nurses, the staff at Keedwell Assisted Living Centre, Meghan, Kim and Diana for their care of Mom during her illness. A special thank you to Dr.Veikle and Kathy Daniels.
A Celebration of June’s life will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens for the immediate family prior to the Celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June’s name to a charity of your choice
