Peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late George Koprla. Dear daughter of the late Michael Yachnevitch of Edmonton AB. Born and raised in Toronto by foster parents, June went to Kent Public School and then Riverdale High School. She worked for the Ontario Stock Yards Restaurant for 17 years left for a period of time and returned to work in the commission firm of Gamble and Rogers where she worked for nine years before leaving to take care of a family member. June was an avid bowler and ran the O.S.Y. ten pin bowling league for twenty five years. She loved music, old black and white movies and reading mystery novels. June cherished the love and support of her many long friendships and her beloved husband George.
A memorial visitation with refreshments will take place at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (Between Islington & Kipling Aves.) Etobicoke on Saturday, January 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. Should you wish to honour June’s memory a donation to one of June’s favorite charities, Crohns & Colitis Canada or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, would be gratefully appreciated.
