Judy Vickers (née McKellar), Born in Toronto, daughter of the late James & Mary McKellar, passed away peacefully in Toronto surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Gerard Vickers. Loving Mom of Sharon (Ben), Tammy (Don), Stephen (Karen), Neil (Mary Ann), Darren (Vicki), Andrea (Jeff) and Bradley (Lauri). Proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her grandson Jesse Gerard, brother Peter… Read More » McKellar and sister Connie McKnight. Judy will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and many friends. Judy taught stained glass and oil painting through Loyalist College and had a love for sewing. She was a seamstress for CFB Trenton and was still sewing for the Quinte West Fire Department.
Family and friends are invited to visit at WEAVER Life Centre – East, 29 Bay St. Trenton on Monday, May 28th, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM and again on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 from 10 AM – 11 AM. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM. Father Francis Zambon will be officiating. Reception to follow. As per Judy’s wishes, cremation will take place after the funeral and burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cardiovascular Unit at the Toronto General Hospital.
