Joycelyne Mae Edwards September 18 2018

EDWARDS, JOYCELYNE MAE (Joyce) June 3, 1931 – September 18, 2018 – Joyce was a treasured friend to many. Her generous spirit made a lasting impression on all those who knew her, and will inspire her family and friends for generations to come. Joyce passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Tuesday September 18, 2018 at North Bay Regional Health Centre.
Joyce will be remembered fondly as a loving spouse by her husband Herb; superb mother to her children Lyne Dellandrea (Jon), Bonny Vossos (David), Craig Edwards (Jennifer) and Kelly Brown (Mike); and world’s most fun (and fashionable) grandmother by her grandchildren and the “great grands”. Joyce had an infectious sense of curiosity, and was always in search of creative outlets. She was an accomplished artist. Joyce was also dedicated to the study of spirituality, with a focus on the connection between mind, body and spirit.
Joyce’s faith and community engagement were a constant source of comfort to others, and we are comforted still in her belief that “death is the perfect healing.” With these sentiments in mind, and in honour of a life well lived and loved, a Celebration of Life will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Sunday, Sept 23/18. Visitation from 11 am – 1 pm with service directly following.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Nipissing Serenity Hospice will be gratefully appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Joycelyne Mae Edwards September 18 2018..
