Obituary for
Joyce Marie Fitzgerald
Fitzgerald, Joyce Marie, 72, Yarmouth passed away November 12, 2018 in Halifax at the QE2 Halifax Infirmary. Born July 5, 1946 in Yarmouth she was a daughter to the late Arthur and Anna (LeBlanc) Fitzgerald. Joyce worked in security while living in B.C. and loved to travel. She always enjoyed being on the go somewhere and loved an adventure. She enjoyed crafts, needle point and cross stitching. Joyce had a very strong personality and was always honest. She had a chuckle that would make the world laugh. She loved to take walks on the beach with the sand between her toes. She is survived by son, Scott (Janice) Fitzgerald, Sanford; grandchildren Jessica and Kimberly; great grandson Kash; brothers, John (Priscilla) Fitzgerald, Halifax; Michael Bain, Alberta; sister Andrea (Mark) Stewart, South Berwick; nieces and nephews, Lisa Terzella, Sarah Osmond, Jenna Bain, Chris Fitzgerald, Erick Stewart, Cameron Bain; and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to the Tri County VON, Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or Salvation Army.
