Peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on Tuesday June 26th, 2018 in her 45th year. Beloved wife of Kevin Schell. Loving mother of Brittany Anne Schell (Ryan Walker). Dear daughter of Bill and Pat Bekkers and sister of CindyWatson (Greg). Lovingly remembered by her mother-in-law Marilyn Massey (the late Walter Schell) and sisters-in-law Laurie Schell, Angie Naves (Jim) and Leslie Caskanette (Phil). Joy will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday July 4th, 2018 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Joy’s family would like to thank the nurses of the dialysis unit of Northumberland Hills Hospital and the staff of St. Michael’s Hospital Toronto for all their care and compassion.
