Born on November 11, 1930, Joe passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Dolores (1980). Loving father of Mary-Jane Potvin (Robert), Tom Psutka (Heather), Janice Loan, Judith Aitken (Douglas) and Cathy O’Toole (Shawn). Proud “Papa Joe” of Michael (Christin), Matthew (Danielle), Stephanie (Josh), Andrea (Aaron), Samantha, Brandon, Katelyn (Marcus), Lauren, John, Bradley (Andrea), Andrew, Jordan (Corey), Joe (Jillian), Jack, Jillian and 14 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Stan Psutka (Marilyn) and sister-in-law Mindy Hurley. Joe was a founding member of St. Anthony Daniel Church, a proud electrician and member of IBEW Local 804 for over 65 years.
Joe’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3-7 p.m on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Dr., on Friday September 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Life Centre.
