Obituary of Joseph Kingston
It is with very heavy hearts that the Kingston family announces the passing of their beloved Joseph “Joe” Kingston, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, after a valiant and courageous battle with lung cancer. Joe had just celebrated his 78th birthday. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Holm). Loved father of Paul, Veronica (Mark Johnson), Lisa (Steven Major), and Bonnie (Robert Johnson). Survived by his sisters Monica Vickers, Bernadette Sullivan and Patricia Kelly. Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. Joe took great pride in his relationships with his family & friends. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, wonderful sense of humor and fun-loving personality, wonderful smile, tenacity, and his love of fishing. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
The family of Joe Kingston will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, December 6th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, December 7th at 11 a.m. with Father Marco Testa officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
