Vallas: John Walter “Carl” AKA : “JUMBO”
(Naval Veteran WWII)
Peacefully at Fairmount home on Wednesday September 19, 2018. Carl Vallasin his 94th year beloved husband of the late Barbara Webster. Loving father of Leslie Wlotzka (Mike) Predeceased by 1 daughter Jody Barton. Dearest Grandfather of Joel & Jesse Hunt & Gregory, Geoffrey and Marrissa Wlotzka. Dear brother of Ruth Desjardins (Mark). Brother in law of Shirley & Walter Pothier and Mary Kirkland. Predeceased by 3 brothers Earl, Thornley and Victor and 1 sister June Bodaly. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the G.F. Tompkins Funeral Home 435 Davis Dr. (Centennial at Taylor-Kidd) on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service at 1pm in the chapel. Interment Cataraqui cemetery.
