Mr. John McGoldrick
February 1st, 1930 – November 27th, 2018
It is with great sadness that his family announces his passing at the Villa Minto on Tuesday November 27th, 2018 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith McGoldrick (nee Daigle). He will be deeply missed by his daughter Lyne (Rick) Beadman, his son-in-law Gary (Bonnie) McNay, his grandchildren Michael (Kelly) McNay, Faye McNay (Joel Cheff) and Trevor Beadman (Zoe Delaurier), his great-grandchildren Brooke, Carter, Nyah, Carson, Aspyn and Emric. He was the brother of the late Norbert (Agnes) McGoldrick, Dorothy (Late Osmond) O’Malley, late Jeanne Nelson, late Thomas (Late Vivian) McGoldrick, late Garry (Rita) McGoldrick and late Alice McGoldrick, brother-in-law of Jeannine Jacob and Thérèse Daigle. He will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also predeceased by his daughter Debra McNay, infant son Dale, grandson Jeffrey Beadman, mother Kathleen McGoldrick (nee Tierney) and father Bernard McGoldrick. .
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third Street West, Cochrane on Friday November 30th, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, 6th Avenue, Cochrane on Saturday December 1st, 2018 at 11 am with Father Richard Fortin officiating followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. The interment will be held in the spring 2019 at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane, le mardi 27 novembre 2018 à l’âge de 88 ans.
Il était le tendre époux de feu Judith McGoldrick (née Daigle). Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Lyne (Rick) Beadman, son beau-fils Gary (Bonnie) McNay, ses petits-enfants Michael (Kelly) McNay, Faye McNay (Joel Cheff) et Trevor Beadman (Zoe Delaurier), ses arrière-petits-enfants Brooke, Carter, Nyah, Carson, Aspyn et Emric. Il était le frère de feu Norbert (Agnes) McGoldrick, Dorothy (feu Osmond) O’Malley, feu Jeanne Nelson, feu Thomas (feu Vivian) McGoldrick, feu Garry (Rita) McGoldrick et de feu Alice McGoldrick, le beau-frère de Jeannine Jacob et Thérèse Daigle. Il laisse également dans le deuil des nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis. Il est aussi allé rejoindre sa fille Debra McNay, son fils bébé Dale, son petit-fils Jeffrey Beadman, sa mère Kathleen McGoldrick (née Tierney) et son père Bernard McGoldrick.
La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 149 Third Street West, Cochrane le vendredi 30 novembre 2018 de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 1er décembre 2018 à 11h à l’Église Transfiguration de Cochrane. Père Richard Fortin présidera la célébration et une réception suivra à la salle de l’Église. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière catholique de Cochrane au printemps 2019.
