John Ruben Lavers
2018-2018
It is with great sadness and loss that the family of John
Lavers of Port Saunders announces his passing on Saturday, January 26,
2018 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond
and loving memories his wife Eliza; children: Ivy, Vonnie, Dinah
(Maurice), Fred (Leah), Anne (Bobby), Julie (Ken), Marjorie (Eugene),
Theresa (Peter); grandchildren: Angelique (Scott), Cory, Erica
(Eugene), Dylan, Christie, Christopher, Justine, Danielle, Reg,
Brandon; great grandchildren: Matthew, Abigale, Austin, Zoey, Jack,
Seth, Ryley; brother Ben(Audrey); sisters: Gertie (Melvin), Von;
special friends: Wayne & June, Bobby & Judy, Eddie
& Liga, Gord & Agnes; many nieces, nephews, relatives
and friends. He was predeceased by parents Isadore and Mary
Ann (Pilgrim) Lavers; brothers: Art, Henry; sisters: Amy, Rose, Maud,
Mary and Angela.
Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Joseph’s RC
Church Port Saunders on Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A
funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30th at 2:00 PM
followed by cremation at Fillatre’s Crematorium Pasadena.
Inurnment will take place in the summer at a date to be
determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St.
Joseph’s RC Church Port Saunders.
