    I was saddened by news of the death of a loved father and grandfather — remembering his adventurous spirit and sense of enjoyment of life. He has left a wonderful legacy to all of you. In the days ahead, we hope you can look beyond the coldness and darkness of death both to the glorious reunion with the love of his life and to the wonderful memories he created with you when he was with you. I wish I could be with you to offer support on this occasion but hope we can get together sometime soon to share some moments of reflection and raise a toast to the patriarch of your family.
