In loving memory of John Joseph Gerard Browne, founder of Browne’s Auto Supplies Limited, who passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre on Saturday, April 28, 2018, aged 66 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Bridget; and brother Albert. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his devoted wife Sheila (nee Broderick) and children; Annette (Doug), Neil (Kora), and Deanne (Ross). Also leaving to mourn his grandchildren; Victoria, Jacob, Spencer, Grace, Sophia, Matthew, and Kiara, as well as special niece Colleen Kieley, brother-in-law Diggie Broderick, and the loyal management and staff of Browne’s Auto Supplies Ltd. With sincerest thanks to Jimmy, Colin, Corey, Paul and Bill. John will be greatly missed by relatives and a large circle of close friends.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, with honorable mention to Dr. Dawn Armstrong. Also, we would like to thank the amazing staff of the PCU at the Miller Centre. The care provided by all the medical professionals at both facilities was truly exceptional. Your kindness, compassion, and laughter were greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of his life to follow at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation can be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
