Obituary of John ‘Jack’ Butt
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, November 25, 2018, John ‘Jack’ Butt of Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by infant daughter: Jacqueline and their mother: Geraldine Shugarue; parents: Michael and Dorothy; brothers: Ron (Betty) and Walter; sisters: Mary (James) Cashin and Vivian (Joseph) Sullivan; brothers-in-law: Leo Wrice and Ray Reynolds. Leaving to mourn, one son: John J. (Angela Lowe) Butt, Sutton, ON; two loving grandchildren: Sydney and Devin; one brother: Edward (Helen) Butt; four sisters: Helen (Danny) Dionne, Frances Wrice, Jean Reynolds, and Geraldine (Jerry) Hennigar; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, November 30 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
