After a lengthy illness at the General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 82. John, beloved husband of Lorraine (nee. Sauvé). Loving father of Rob (Rekha), Christopher (Gloria) and Tim (Jo). Dear grand dad of Alena, Davis and Lauren. John is survived by his siblings Carol (Ted), Sandra (Gordon), Robert (Monica), Margaret (Alex), and Lynn. Pre-deceased by his sister Georgia and brother in law Carl. Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Friday October 5, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a Memorial Gathering.
