MACDONALD, Johanna – Peacefully at Westmount Gardens on July 17, 2018, Johanna Wilhelmina Macdonald, nee Lohnen of London age 93. Predeceased by her husband John A. Macdonald in 1987. Loving mother of W. Ronald (Dianne) Macdonald of London, Donald L. Macdonald (Catherine) of Antigonish, Rena (Dave) O’Halloran of London and the late John A. Macdonald (Mary). Dear Oma of Shawn (Lisa), Jennifer, Kelly (Jeff), David, Sam, Erika, Nicholas, Roxanne, and Christopher. Great-grandmother to DJ, Natalie, Julia, Trenton, and Amy, Sister of Wim (Tini) in The Netherlands, Catharina Vanderspek in Boston and the late Fritz. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Johanna was a great knitter and a wonderful cook and baker. She was a long-time employee at Woolco. Special thanks to the caregivers at Westmount Gardens.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
