Joan Gertrude Fleckney
July 7, 1932 – November 11, 2018
FLECKNEY, JOAN GERTRUDE, 86 of Windsor Junction, passed away November 11, 2018 at Maplestone Nursing Home. Born on July 7, 1932, she was the first of nine children born to the late Francis and Beryl (Foley) Stoneman. Joan worked for Sears Canada for more than 25 years. The wife of the late Gerald Fleckney of Kline Heights, she is also predeceased by her son Michael; brothers Wilfred, Frank (Rosalie), Robert (Carole) and sister Sharon (Leonard) Burke. Survived by sons Patrick (Susan McCafferty) and Stephen; sisters Margaret McNair (Patrick, deceased), Joyce (Lester) Wah, Norma (Al) Sladden and brother James (Mary) Stoneman; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Private family burial; reception at JA Snow Funeral Home, Monday, November 19 at 2:00. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
