Joan Elizabeth Dungey
of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Arthur Edward Dungey for 60 years. Dear mother of John and Jennifer Dungey of Burgessville and Brenda Dungey and Brent Leis of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Ashley (Nick) Gerenscer, Robert Dungey, Brittany Dungey, Courtney Dungey, Kaitlyn Dungey, and Matthew Dungey; Tyler (Delanie) Prins, Kyra Wood and Sofia Leis. Sister of Bob (Florence) Harper of Mount Forest and Velma Bramhill and Bob Rundle of Waterford. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Ida and Leonard Patterson. To honour Joan’s wishes cremation has taken place followed by private family interment service in Palmerston Cemetery.

My sincere sympathy to Arthur and all the family and especially Velma her sister to whom I know she was very close.
Joan was a wonderful kind and loving person and will be missed. She was my cousin, Always remember the good times
as I do with my brother who passed away -the Late Lloyd C. McIntosh who was one of the kindest people you would want
to meet. With him I think about the time he taught me how to tie my shoes when I was tiny and it just went on from there
He was always there for me. In remembering the good times it has helped me in my grief.
