Sharpe, Jessie F
Jessie F Sharpe, age 95, of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, passed away surrounded by family at Oakwood Terrace Nursing Home on December 13, 2018. Born in Isle-Aux-Morte, NL, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Annabelle Walters. She is survived by her children; David, Elizabeth, Linda, Bonnie, Darlene and Deborah, along with an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and several of her brothers and sisters. She will always be remembered for her bread baking and her excellent knitting skills. She liked to be dressed well and could often be seen in animal prints and sparkles. She had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh and she would often dress up at Christmas as Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus to the enjoyment of the children and adults alike. She was kind and generous to everyone and was known for her caring nature. Viewing is scheduled for Monday December 17, 2018 at Cole Harbour Funeral Home in the afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with a Funeral Service to be held Tuesday December 18th at 10:00 am in the funeral home Chapel. Cremation will take place following the service and a private burial service will take place at Calvin United Church Cemetery, Lawrencetown on a date yet to be determined.
