Obituary of Jesse Jenner
Jesse Jenner, age 40, passed away peacefully surrounded with love and compassionate care, on Friday, February 23rd, 2018, at the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre. Jesse was the cherished son of Joan Jenner and stepson of Hugh Kinkartz (predeceased), Brian Jenner and stepmother Julie Jenner. Jesse has strong family roots in Georgian Bluffs and spent the last years of his rich and happy life living on the shores of Georgian Bay. Jesse loved music, trivia, reading, storytelling and his cat Mindy. Road trips to visit family or to places of interest were highlights in his life as was riding in his utility vehicle “Allie”. He appreciated and celebrated all that we should, especially Canada Day, Christmas and special holidays that brought his family together. His gentle spirit, humour and kindness, enveloped those whom he loved. Jesse was Alexandra Jenner’s beloved, big brother. He is the grandson of Dorothea McInnis and Don and Betty Jenner (predeceased). His aunts Wendy, Anne (Richard), Holly (David) and his uncle Bruce (Cheryl) will miss his gentle presence in their lives as will his cousins. For 10 years, Diana Hodgins, was a gentle and loving presence in Jesse’s life. There are no words that can adequately express our gratitude for all that she brought to Jesse and to our lives. We will smile when we remember and share ‘Jesse’ stories and will forever hold him in our hearts.
There will be a celebration of Jesse’s life on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492).
