Wilson, Jean (nee Gordon) May 7, 1925-July 17, 2018
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday July 17th, 2018 at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of the late Woodrow (Woody 1985).
Loving mother of Ethel (David), Colleen (Mark), Bill (Kathleen), Ian (Kim), Peter (Donna) and Hunter.
Proud grandmother of Matt (Jen) Judy (Joe), Luke (Katie), Sarah (Wayne), Taylin, Andrew and Shannon. Great grandma of Olivia, Alice, Mason and Isabella. Loving sister of Margaret, Olive (pre-deceased), Herbert (pre-deceased) and Jack (pre-deceased).
Fiercely resilient, Mom braved living on her own until age 90.
Many thanks to the staff of Lynde Creek Manor Whitby over the past two years and Amica Whitby over the past two months for her continued care in maintaining her dignity, grace and independent spirit.
A Private Family service will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday July 29th.
