It is with heavy hearts the family of Jean Matheson-Garnett announces her passing that occurred on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1948 in Vancouver, BC, she was the daughter of the late Alan and Theresa Cole. Jean had a love for all animals especially dogs and horses. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 20 years, Jerry Garnett; mother-in-law Marjorie Garnett; brother-in-law Murray Garnett (Shirley Grace); niece Tara (Jeremy) Gallant; nephews Keith (Heather) Garnett and Kevin (Kathleen) Garnett; and great nephew Jacob.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road where visitation will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. A reception will follow at Zion Pentecostal Church in Garnett Settlement. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation, Kidney Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
