JEAN MARY MILLER
(nee BRENNAN)
It is with sad and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mum, Jean Mary Miller of The Waverley Retirement Residence on Thursday, July 19, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer at the Grace Hospital at the age of 89 years.
She was predeceased by her late husband of 34 years, William Edgar Miller. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Jill (Georgetown, ON) and Duane and his partner Leigh (Vancouver, BC); cherished grandmother of Emma, Hannah, Julianna and William. She will also be sadly missed by her brother John Brennan; “the girls” – Lorna Hutchings, Lois Johnson and Geri Cassels.
Jean was born in Winnipeg, MB on December 25, 1928. She is best known among her family and friends for her love of oil painting of wildlife (birds), landscapes and her love of dogs. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Winnipeg.
At Jean’s request, a private cremation has taken place.

I’M FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
