Jean Louise Heckman
August 16, 1929 – December 13, 2018
HECKMAN, JEAN LOUISE age 89 of Timberlea, passed away peacefully at Melville Gardens Thursday December 13, 2018. Born in Port Williams she was the daughter of Donald and Cynthia Fraser (Crowe). She worked as a nurse in Verdun, Quebec and loved gardening and bird watching. Survived by daughter Sheila Jean Flemming (Heckman); son Donald Ian Heckman; sister Ferne Davidson (Donald) Gaspereau Valley; grandchildren Duncan Flemming, Penny Arnold Flemming, Christopher Heckman, Stephen Heckman and Crystal Heckman; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Harry St.Claire Heckman; and brother Donald Fraser. Visitation Wednesday December 19 from 6 – 8 at JA Snow Funeral Home. Service also at JA Snow Funeral Home, Thursday December 20 at 10:00am; burial to follow in Lunenburg County. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
