Jean Katherine Wheeler
1930-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the
late Jean Wheeler announce her passing on Tuesday, March
20th, 2018 at her residence at the age of 88
years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four
children: Gloria George (Pat), Glen (Valda), Rod (Sharon) and Wayne
(Vicki); four grandchildren: Nicole (Jason), Stephen (Erin), Cathy
(Brendan) and Crystal (Dave); three great grandchildren: Alexander,
Logan and Riley; her sister, Rhodena Loder; as well as many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her
husband Joel Wheeler, 1994; parents James and Sarah Compagnon;
brothers George, Eric, Jack, Fred, Harold and William; sisters Leona
and Mae. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218
Curling street on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The
funeral service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican
Church, Curling on Saturday, March 24th at 2:00
p.m. with Reverend David Taylor officiating. The interment will follow
at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of
flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church.
