MACDONALD – The death
occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday,
February 22, 2018, of Jean MacDonald, of Summerside and formerly of
Albany, aged 82 years. Born in Albany, she was the daughter
of the late Lorne and Lucy (Dawson) Cameron. Survived by her
children Donna, Garry (Greg), and Janelle (Sharon); loving grandmother
of Stephanie and Mark (Katie); great-grandchildren Olivia and Weston;
a sister Shirley (Don) Thomson; sisters-in-law Bernice Cameron,
Blanche Jewell, Jennie Mayhew, Dorothy Jewell, Ethel MacDonald, Wanda
Lord, Dianne (Garnet) Stewart and Barbara MacDonald; brother-in-law
John (Mae); and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by her husband Garnet MacDonald; brothers Wilbur Cameron and Winston
(Judy) Cameron; brothers-in-law Preston (Cora) MacDonald, Hollis
(Lorraine) MacDonald, Lloyd (Marion) MacDonald, Carl MacDonald, Davis
Jewell, Earl Mayhew, and Fred Jewell; and by a sister-in-law Verna
(Victor) McKenna. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where
funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
Interment later in the Searletown Cemetery, Searletown.
Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations to the Searletown Cemetery or the Prince County Hospital
Foundation would be appreciated.
Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing
scents.
