The death of Jean Anna Leach of Miramichi, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the age of 90. Born in Sunny Corner, NB, Jean was the daughter of the late Henry and Eliza (Hill) Leach. Jean was a supervisor at a research lab from 1952-1992 and was a member of the Whitney United Church UCW. Jean is survived by one sister Beatrice Mutch of Port Williams, NS, one brother Gerald of Thunder Bay, ON and several nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by sisters Ida Mae, Margaret and infant sisters Anna Jean and Elsie Margaret; brothers Howard , Norman and Boyd. There will be no visitation. A public Funeral Service will be held from St. Stephen’s United Church, Red Bank, NB on a day and time to be announced.. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In Jean’s memory a donation may be made to St. Stephen’s United Church Memorial Fund or a memorial of one’s choice.
