Jane M.
Petley, 81, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
Born in
Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and
Margareth (Cowden) Gibson of British
Columbia.
Jane was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a
long-time member of St. Philip’s Anglican Church. An avid
reader, she enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her
friends.
Jane will be
sadly missed by her children, Fiona Dunham (Rick), Bill Petley
(Shelley), Christina Leger (Marc), Margaret Hunter (Gary), Tommy
Petley (Suzanne) and Alma Petley; thirteen grandchildren, six great
grandchildren and several extended family
members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl Arnold Petley
CD (December 16, 1978) and grandson, Adam Dunham
(2014).
A Service to
celebrate and honour Jane’s life will be held from St.
Philip’s Anglican Church, 36 Lynch St., on Saturday, July
21, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Harcourt Joint Cemetery
at a later date.
Arrangements
under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).

Jane, donations to the Greater Moncton SPCA or a memorial of the
