Obituary of James Schuurman
Obituary for Jim Schuurman.
James Riender Schuurman was born July 11, 1963, in Killam, AB, to Isobell and Riender Schuurman.
Jim passed away in Red Deer, AB on December 26, 2017, at the age of 54.
Jim had a great passion for golf, riding his Motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his children, Gavin (Ashley) of Castor, AB, Deanna of Caroline, AB; his father Riender of Sedgewick, AB; brothers, Brent (Steven) of Calgary, AB, Mervin (Karla) of Edberg, AB.; 2 Grandchildren, Sierra, Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends throughout Alberta, Canada and USA.
Jim was predeceased by his mother Isobell, grandparents Leonard and Mary Usselman and Carl and Deanna Schuurman.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 2 pm at the Sedgewick Community Hall in Sedgewick, Alberta.
Memorial donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sedgewick Cemetery Fund or the charity of one’s choice.
Gavin and Deanna and Families would like to thank everyone for all of your kind words and comfort in the loss of our Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Uncle.
