Obituary of James “Jim” Bennett
James “Jim” David Bennett, late of Regina, SK was born March 17, 1949, and passed away in an automobile accident on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 69 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Dora Bennett. Jim is survived by his brothers, Richard, Gary and his children, Jessica and Robert; son James Jr. and his children, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Tyson, and Christian; son Christopher and his children, Cole and Cassandra; wife Barbara; step-children, Tracy (Brent) Leier and their children, Shawn, Michelle, and Justin; Joanne (Jeffrey) De Sarno and their children, Kyle, Robyn, Jayden, and Ashton; Joseph (Crystal) Wood and their children, Cambrey and Wesley; Johnathan Wood (Nicole Persram); best friends, Tim and Ronda Glover and their family. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. Viewing will start at 2:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or to Diabetes Canada, 919B Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.
