On December 30, 2017, Mr. James “Jimmy” Chester Jackson of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Edna; 2 sons & 4 daughters, James (Terrie) of Goodfsh Lake, Karen of Goodfish Lake, Rhonda (Gary Gagnon) of Edmonton, Shirlain of Edmonton, Alex of Goodfish Lake & Carolyn (Kevin Quinney) of Goodfish Lake; 13 grandchildren, Scott, Daniel, Elliott, Erika, Austin, Mathew, Davin, Naomi, Danica, Howie, Brooke, Dayna & Kaylynn; 7 great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Sapphira, Ceejay, Shayea, Kohen, Brian & Albert; 3 brothers & 1 sister, Alfred (Doris), Myrtle Houle, Samuel & Gusse; special sister, Maggie Houle; numerous nieces & nephews. James was predeceased by his special furry friend, Princess; parents, Homer & Mary Jane; 4 brothers, Howard Pruden, Willard, Roland & Walter; sisters, Gertrid & Greta; father- & mother-in-law, Joseph & Annie Pasquayak; son-in-law, Brian Halfe; numerous brothers- & sisters-in-law. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2 p.m.) & Sunday, January 6 & 7 at United Church, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake.
