WILDING, Ivy (nee Doggett) – Peacefully in her home with family around her on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in her 94th year. Loving Wife of Thomas Henry for 71 years. Daughter of the late Leopold John William WILDING, Ivy (nee Doggett) – Peacefully in her home with family around her on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in her 94th year. Loving Wife of Thomas Henry for 71 years. Daughter of the late Leopold John William Doggett and the late Florence Gernon. Sister of the late Frank Goodship (late Olive, late Margaret), the late Horace (Charlie) Goodship (late Evelyn), the late Leopold Doggett (late Shirley, late Lorraine), the late Vera Taylor (late Stan “Jack”), and Sylvia Wilding (late Wesley). Sister in Law of the late Alex Wilding (late Alice), late John Wilding (late Isabel), late Maude Darlow (late Bob), late Wesley Wilding (Sylvia), and Marion Hotchkiss (Hoy). Beloved Mother of Norman Clair Doggett (Nadine), Terrance Thomas Wilding (Susan), Randall Brent Wilding (Lori), Danni Wayne Wilding (Vicky), Deborah Lynn Wilding, and Nancy Maria Margaret Croft (Warren). Proud Grandma of the late Christopher, Cherie (Dan), Norman, Clint, Jane, Nicole (Dan), Christopher (Lara), Karen (David), Jennifer (Ryan), Kenny (Kelly), Michael (Kristin), Wade (Jeanie), Mark (Stephanie), Kyle, Danielle, Tyler (Tania), and Jesse (Nicole). Great Grandma of 20 and Great Great Grandma of 1. Ivy will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ivy was a proud active member for over 55 years of the local Flora Rebekah Lodge and helped raised much needed funds for optical surgery and other medical equipment for our community. Ivy also enjoyed many years as a 4H leader. Friends are invited to visit at Willowgrove United Church on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 11 am to 12:45 pm. Funeral service to follow at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment West Korah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the nurses from ParaMed, especially Holly Febbraro, Drs. Hill and Nicky Apostle, and the cancer clinic nurses and staff for their care and compassion.
