Ivan “Keith”‘s Obituary
ETTINGER, Ivan “Keith” – Age 92, of Berwick, formerly of Auburn, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, August 21, 2018, in Grand View, Berwick. Born in Noel, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Harry M. and Madge A. (Davis) Ettinger. Keith had served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, retiring after 25 years of service. He then worked in the maintenance department at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre for over 10 years. Keith was well known as a handyman and was devoted to his family. Surviving are daughters, Cheryl (Christine Postnikoff) Ettinger, Wilmot; Judy (Allan Wilson) Ettinger, Ottawa, Ont.; sons, Kenneth (Jessie) Ettinger, Aylesford; Brian (Becky) Ettinger, Berwick; grandchildren, Sean (Kyla) Ettinger and Ryan (Roger) Flynn; sisters, Dorothy McCulloch, Linda Ettinger and Doris (John) Singer; brothers, Victor and Wayne (Sandra) Ettinger; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Nellie “Jean” Caldwell; brothers, Noel and Arthur Ettinger. In keeping with their wishes, a private interment service for both Keith and Jean will take place in Aylesford Union Cemetery, with Rev. John Moses officiating. All are welcome to attend a time in Celebration of Keith and Jean’s life from 3-5 p.m., Monday, August 27, in Aylesford United Church Hall, 2414 Hwy No. 1, Aylesford. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or to Grand View Manor, Berwick.
