Obituary for
Isabelle Foster (Jackson)
Isabelle Mary Foster
1933-2018
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Isabelle Mary Foster. Mom passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018, one month to the day of her 85th birthday. Isabelle was predeceased by her son, Craig, in 1996 and her husband, Ray in 2005.
Born in the town of Neepawa, Manitoba, Mom lived in the surrounding area until moving to Winnipeg in her 20’s. It was soon she met Ray and married. Ray and Isabelle had three boys, Dale (Val) Blaire and Craig. Isabelle had 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Scott and Gillian. She was so very proud of them and spent many hours enjoying their company.
Mom worked in many different careers including being a representative for Kayser-Roth in the Bay and Eaton’s to working with the school board and Mom also was an administrator in the insurance business with various companies.
When Dad and Mom retired they travelled to many places in the world and enjoyed their adventures very much.
Throughout Mom’s life she met and became close friends with many. She loved to golf, curl and interact with so many people. She was very involved with many charities and events at her church, Windsor Park United Church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends alike.
We send our thanks to the staff on the 6th floor west of the Deer Lodge Centre for the care and friendship given to our Mother.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service to remember Mom’s life.
