Hicks, 81, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home, and formerly of Horsman
St., Salisbury, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on
Friday, May 25, 2018. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter
of the late Cecil and Vista (Mullin)
Horsman.
Irma was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Irma
was always happy to have her family and friends around and loved
seeing and spending time with her precious
grandchildren.
Irma will be
sadly missed by her daughters, Gail Hicks of Moncton, Darlene
Richardson (David) of Riverview and Sheilla Colpitts (Brian) of
Lakeville, Westmorland Co.; sons, Patrick (Lise) of Lakeville,
Westmorland Co., Calvin (Michaelanne) of Salisbury and Kevin (Amy) of
Edmonton, AB; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters,
Muriel Cromwell (late Arthur) of Petitcodiac and Hilda Lutes of
Belleville, ON; brother, Willard Horsman of Greenwood, NS; as well as
several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Harris Hicks
(2001); son, Robin; brothers, Donald, Raymond and Frederick and
sister, Gladys Arsenault.
In honouring
Irma’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral
service. A graveside service will be held at Horsman Cemetery at a
later date.
Arrangements
under the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).
In memory of
Irma, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a memorial
of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online
