Irma Elizabeth Craig , wife of the late Murray C. Craig passed away at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB. on Monday, February 5, 2018.
Born in Brockway NB., a daughter of the late Chester and Josephine (Davis) Purdy.
Irma spent most of her life raising her family. In later years, she worked for ten years at the Metropolitan Store in St. Stephen. She loved nature, spending many hours teaching her children and grandchildren about wildflowers and birds. She was an avid card player, loved puzzles and enjoyed her many friends.
Survived by her children: Marie Brisley of Oak Hill, NB., Barbara Craig of Edmonton, AB., Donald Craig (Jocelyn) of Oak Bay, NB., Douglas Craig (Sally) of Truro, NS., Roger Craig (Janet) of Victoria, BC., Deborah Hiland (James) of Oak Bay, NB., Calvin Craig (Bonnie) of Langley, BC. and Wendy Craig of St. Stephen, NB., fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret Orr of Oak Bay, NB. and Lillian Brown (Harry) of Oak Haven, NB., many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Irma is predeceased by two sons-in-law, Allan Brisley and John Ross, three brothers and six sisters.
A graveside service will be held at the Oak Bay Cemetery at a later date.
