HUBLEY – Murray L., 68, of Harmony, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at home.
Born in Bridgewater, Murray was a son of the late Jason and Dorothy (Veinot) Hubley
Murray worked on a Christmas tree farm shearing and harvesting trees. He loved fishing with his grandchildren and spending time at the lake. Murray enjoyed “puttering” around his yard and doing home renovations. He loved to spend time with family and friends but, especially with his grandchildren.
Murray is survived by his wife of 47 years Beverley (Frail); his daughter Melanie (Michael) Silver of North Brookfield; his sons Scott (Shelley) of Caledonia and Cory (Nicole) of Pleasant River. His grandchildren MacKenna, Keegan and Kayden Silver, Breeanna, Nathaniel and Wyatt Hubley and Emmitt Hubley. His sister Patricia (Wade) Joudrey of Elmwood and his brother Vincent (June) of New Cumberland.
Besides his parents, Murray was predeceased by his brother William
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Brookfield Community Hall. Reception to follow. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the North Queens Fire Association or to the Lodge That Gives, Halifax, NS.
