HILDEGARD TRAUTE (TRUDY) MISCH
Passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2018, surrounded by family in her 98th year.
Hildegard was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Robert. A dedicated, much-loved mother, who lived her life with integrity, determination and humour. Always positive, assuring her children would aspire to success. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Ingrid von Ompteda (Frederik), Karina Logozar (Leonard), and son Dieter (Deborah) and proud Omi to grandchildren Christian (Jess), Karin, Christopher (Jane), Michael and Hilary. Trudy and family immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1951. They persevered to build a successful life, with boundless energy, to overcome many challenges. Although she succumbed to Alzheimer’s disease, she continued to have a zest and a love for life. Her generous and loving sprit prevailed until the end. We are grateful for the kind and compassionate staff at Harmony Hills who cared so lovingly for Trudy. In memory of Hildegard, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
