Obituary of Herbert Weirmier
At the age of 96, Herb passed away peacefully at home in Waterloo on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 after enjoying Christmas with family.
Predeceased in 2013 by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary C. B. Weirmier (nee Switzer). Loving father of William (Linda Snyder), Ron, Ross (Gloria) and Jeff (Penny). Cherished grandpa to Cory (Stephanie), Tamara, Brandon, Chris (Andrea), Jenn (Greg) and great-grandpa to Carly, Nathan, Hannah, Isabelle, and Victoria. Herb is survived by his sister Betty Stever.
Predeceased by five brothers, two sisters and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A special thank you to CarePartners, the PSWs, and palliative care nurse Vanessa who cared for Herb.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Herb during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held at Trillium Lutheran Church (formerly St. John’s Lutheran Church), 22 Willow Street, Waterloo on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. A light lunch at the church will follow the interment.
