DAVIES, Herbert Leonard S/Sgt Retired RCMP It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Herbert Leonard Davies who passed away January 20, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with loving family at his side. He was the son of the late Herbert and Alice Davies of Glace Bay, N.S. Herb served 30 years in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He started his career in Montreal, QC, before moving to Newfoundland – stationed at Corner Brook, Bonne Bay, Nain, Stephenville and Burgeo until moving to Nova Scotia – serving in Arichat, Sydney, St. Peters and Antigonish before retiring as Detachment Commander in charge of…
