Henri Larose has entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 83 years in Calgary, Alberta. Born in McCord Saskatchewan, Henri was the twelfth child in a family of 15 siblings. Henri is survived by his wife Frieda, his son David (Shelly) and his two grandchildren Bernadette and Peter, whom he adored. Henri was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Laurette, his son Peter, and numerous brothers and sisters. Henri worked many years in the construction industry and was an active member of the Brentwood Community Association. Family was an important part of his life, whether it was traveling back and forth to Saskatchewan to visit with family, a love for dancing, or traveling around the city to attend any one of his two grandchildren’s school or sporting events – always with a bag of cookies to help ease the loss or celebrate the win. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive NW) on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive NW) on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00 am. Graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
